CJ Stone
biography
Under his alias CJ Stone, Andreas Litterscheid has done it all on his own and definitely on his own terms. This man discovered his love for music at the early age of 12 when he started mixing his own tracks together with cassettes and two recorders. It didn’t take long before everybody started calling Andreas by his nickname 'CJ' which stands for Cassette Jockey. Only a few years later he started working on his own productions and decided to release them under the name of CJ Stone.
CJ Stone discovered his talent for writing songs and got more and more into the art of production. This eventually resulted in remixing international artists like Tiësto, Kyau & Albert, Silver and Culture Beat and the release of many originals like Infinity, Shining Star, Into the Sea, The Sun (Goes Down) and Don’t Look Back which together brought him international fame and a firm fan base in many countries around the world. As a dj CJ Stone performed at all of the world’s greatest clubs and parties from the USA to Canada and of course Europe.
One of his biggest tracks up to date is Infinity which went straight to the top of all European dance charts. His remix for Ultrabeat’s 'Pretty Green Eyes' was placed in the top 10 in the English sales charts for more than 3 months and sold more than 200,000 copies! CJ Stone’s remix of 'Mr. Vain' even reached the gold status in his home country Germany. Same did the title 'Turn the Tide' for Belgium dance act Silver. Like that isn’t enough Andreas also went to Hollywood where he was asked to do a exclusive production called Cold Blood for the cult movie Blade 2. .
While his alias CJ Stone is still very important to him to display his love for trance and dance music, Andreas also was able to make his name well know as a producer of pop music. For example as a part of the music company 'Bass Bumpers', he together with his partner DJ Voodoo produced the album Goleo 6 for the FIFA®World Championships 2006. The album included monster hits like 'Dance' sung by Lumidee ft. Fat Man Scoop and 'All together' by Atomic Kitten.
CJ Stone is one of those names you instantly relate to quality music which will rock every dancefloor and party. His international sounding tracks and big room sets are seriously made for big clubs and venues around the world!
